Tomorrow. . .Thursday, July 15. . .time for another "Fishin' Game Report." But from where? Where can one fish and not catch "pre-oiled trout?" Well, Ron "Captain Ahab" Broadus knows where--Stone Island south of Delacroix. And that's where we're going tomorrow morning right at daybreak. Today (it's Wednesday) he caught some nice trout at Stone, so we decided that that's the spot we'll try again tomorrow morning with the Channel 4 TV camera in the boat. FYI. . .Ahab says we'll fish (and you should, too) 30 inches under a popping cork, using any kind of chartreuse colored beetle or minnow type plastic, fitted on a quarter-ounce leadhead jig. Until I bring you the formal report tomorrow, remember this: No popping, jerking, twitching, snapping--just cast and let the lure sit! If you're into the trout (and Ahab says they're pretty decent size) the fish will be on it like white on rice. See y'all when we get back.
