Blue crabs are everywhere right now. You'll catch them in drop nets, crabtraps, or on a handline with a chunk of raw chicken tied on the business end. And since it's late summer. . .they're fat and full! Yummmm!

The ultimate Crown Prince of "Comfort Food," nothing beats an aromatic, fall-apart-tender, "melt in your mouth" pot roast. This one is done with onions, mushrooms, carrots, wine and some of the best seasonings found anywhere! I know that because they're my seasonings!

If you do a lot of fishing off the Louisiana coast, you really need to know whether you're in state or federal waters, especially if you're fishing for redfish or snapper because the regulations and restrictions differ for those species based on where you're fishing. Check this out!

We were all expecting intense rain, lightning and thunderstorms, and gusty winds upwards of 50 miles per hour. But none of that materialized. Instead of another Tropical Storm we got a Tropical Shoo-Shoo!
